The Dallas Compass keeps one address for editorial correspondence, reached by emailing the editorial desk. There is no contact form, no phone line, and no separate address for a different department. One inbox handles everything the editorial desk is responsible for, and email reaches it directly.

Write in for a correction on anything published across the five sections, a tip about a Dallas story the Compass has not covered yet, or a question about something already on the site: a source, a figure, a claim worth a second look. The desk reads all of it.

The desk also reads pitches for essays about Dallas, sent to the same address. A pitch that fits the site reads like the rest of the Compass: grounded in a specific place, a specific habit, or a specific fact about the city, not a general topic. Include a short description of the piece and, if it exists already, a link to prior published writing.

The desk does not handle service requests, business listings, or inquiries meant for an organization other than this publication. It does not run classifieds or accept submissions on behalf of any business, practice, or provider named or unnamed.
