We believe that people’s particular struggles are often rooted in similar underlying issues and experiences. By focusing on these underlying similarities, our IOP program can accommodate members struggling with both psychiatric and substance use disorders. This inclusive approach allows for group members with a variety of struggles to relate to and learn from one another in a unique way.

Our IOP draws on principles of cognitive behavior therapy, dialectal behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and schema therapy to provide a theoretical foundation for group process, psychoeducation, and experiential work. Limited to 12 people, our IOP also includes additional support through weekly individual sessions to process the group experience.

IOP is an open group, accepting members at any time. It follows an eight week curriculum, addressing a variety of topics related to mental health, addiction, and maintaining a balanced life, all from a holistic perspective.

Wednesdays 3 pm – 4:30 pm
Fridays 10 am – 11:30 am

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy is an evidence-based treatment approach which helps people manage intense emotions and relationships. DBT includes four sets of behavioral skills including:

– The practice of being fully aware and present in this one moment.
– Learning how to tolerate pain in difficult situations and not change it.
– Learning to ask for what you want and say no, while maintaining self-respect and relationships with others.
– Understanding ways to manage emotions.

Thursdays 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm
(Optional weigh-in/body composition at 6:00 PM)

The goal of Integral Weight Loss is building long term nutritional and physical fitness by building mental and emotional fitness. Why “Integral”? Well, most programs fail because they only consider one element, the food.

Instead, we work to integrate the emotional and mental dimensions with diet and exercise. Integrate specific habits into daily living. Integrate across the dimensions of body, mind, and spirit. Integrate old favorite foods into an overall more balanced diet. Integrate goals with strategies. Integrate mindfulness into daily living. Nutrition and fitness into enjoyment. Feeling good is every bit as important as looking good and enjoying good health!

Wednesdays 10 am – 11:30 am

Women’s Group provides an opportunity for women ages 25 and up who are in any stage of recovery or healing from substance use and mental health disorders. Together, we use holistic therapeutic techniques and creative activities to help group members gain insight. As we work together, we experience “aha” moments, suddenly recognizing a sense of community and connection. We learn to create a space for this new awareness, finding hope for ourselves and our relationships.

Mondays 1 pm – 2:30 pm

Women’s Anxiety Group is designed to both educate as well as practice skills and tools for managing worry, stress, and anxiety. The group balances information about the role of anxiety and the tools to successfully manage it. The focus is on developing practical skills to regulate emotions and manage distressing times and situations.

Parent Support Group offers education, encouragement, and support. It’s a time when parents can hear others voice the same concerns about parenting teens or young adults who are struggling with chronic emotional struggles, substance abuse, and/or psychiatric illnesses.

Tuesdays 4:30 pm – 6 pm

Recovery Group is designed for those needing to explore their relationship with substances or compulsive behaviors. Through the use of psycho-educational processing and experiential exercises, group members will gain understanding into the role these behaviors play and their impact on different areas of life. Abstinence is not a requirement for group attendance. While this recovery group is not 12-step based, it will support and supplement any 12-step recovery process.

Friday 8 am – 9:30 am

Group Type and Size:
This is a weekly men’s specific group limited to 12 participants. It is educational, process, and experiential oriented.

Men’s Sexual Recovery Group is designed for those needing a support group focused on developing a thriving recovery from sexual addiction and other intimacy disorders. Group members will gain understanding in topics such as the addictive system, relapse prevention, and healthy intimacy and sexuality. This therapist-facilitated group will take place in a safe, supportive environment conducive to practicing healthy transparency and vulnerability, setting boundaries, and giving and receiving support.

You may consider attending this group if you answer positively to any one of the following questions:
